About Us & History
Francois Engelbrecht (click here for further info on Francois) started the company in 2004 in Bellville, Cape Town. The company firstly specialized in large scale residential electrical contracts for large building contractors all over the Western Cape and successfully completed hundreds of new residential electrical installations, under the name Electraforce within the first years of the business.
The company ran into tough competition with BEE accredited companies, with which it could not compete, as sometimes our prices would be lower, but the BEE companies would still get the jobs.
Towards about 2015, after the company hardly traded for a while, the decision was made to focus on residential electrical maintenance and installations for private building owners, where there are no BEE requirements. We built a strong name in Cape Town and became popular with many people in terms of their electrical maintenance and installation requirements at their properties.
Towards about 2020, we decided to include plumbing maintenance and installations to our services and our name was changed to Revma Electrical & Plumbing. Qualified and competent Plumbers were acquired to join our team, we grew our client base steadily and enjoyed approval of many happy clients all over Cape Town for numerous years.
A bit later, after we’ve been approached and completed several small-scale construction projects, we decided to officially include it to our services offered. We included property maintenance, home improvements, renovations and small-scale construction to our services and changed our name again to Canman Trades. We added to our team highly skilled people in the building industry and maintenance game and included all the services, which we mention above on this website.

Our aim and aspirations are to be the best in all the trade services we offer in the Cape Town Area. We aim to take large market share and be successful in terms of our happy clients and financially.
